About HTI Legal Nurse Consulting and Life Care Planning
When I was trying to think of a name for my consulting
business, I wanted something that related to who I really am. HTI stands for Honor, Trust, and
Integrity. My father instilled these attributes into me. He was a living example of all three and I
try every day to live up to his example. I run my business the way I run my life.
My husband and I live in Orange City, Florida
on a small farm. I have a great interest in the environment and animal welfare. Animals are a huge
part of my life. We have an African Grey Parrot who has become our late- life "child". Of course, we have dogs, cats, ancient pygmy goats and an elderly blind goose. We do all we can to attract wildlife to
our home. We truly have a piece of "heaven" on earth.
I have always been interested in medicine and law. It
followed that Legal Nurse Consulting was the natural path for me to take. I love what I do and I am
good at it. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and efficient. I make it a priority not only in
business but also in life to use my time effectively. My clients appreciate the fact that I keep
their budgets and deadlines intact!
I am a member of the Delta
Epsilon Tau honor society, American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners, the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, and the Orlando
Florida chapter of Legal Nurse Consultants. I completed my Master’s degree in Nursing Education in May of 2010 at Indiana Wesleyan University. I am currently enrolled at University of Phoenix to obtain a PhD in Nursing. I will graduate in 2013.
